Tomorrow I am going to York with the other half, we are going to go shopping during the day then out on the tiles and for a meal at night…then we’ll be staying in a swanky hotel* and heading home on Wednesday morning.

I could really do with getting an early night tonight but I know it won’t happen, I am too excited and I accidentally stayed asleep for an extra hour today. Doh.

Then on Wednesday is my mums 60th birthday, lots of plans with the family and stuff.

Thursday I am doing my final Christmas shopping trip, with my mum as sort of part of her birthday present.

So, if you don’t hear from me until Friday you know why — busy busy

* Actually it’s a £9 Travelodge room, teehee

Online Christmas Shopping DONE!

I officially finished all of my online Christmas shopping for the year today — I ordered several things from several places, mainly DVDs, now it’s just a case of waiting for the postman and hoping everything arrives in time. I always hate that part the most.

I do still have some bits to buy, but I will be getting those next week in York.

I feel all accomplished, I am usually the sort to leave every thing until the last second.

Well I actually did what I said I would, I put together my new elliptical — which works fine but is very squeaky, I need to look into that — and I worked out on it for the first time in a few weeks. I then also did my old aerobics video.

Working out twice in one day, get me.

I plan to do the same tomorrow and Sunday at the very least. Then unfortunately I will be taking a wee break again as I head off to York for a few days to do some shopping, partying and relaxing.

My other half just called me to say that he’s booked us a night away, yay. He then told me the room he’s booked only cost £9 and I ‘YAYED’ even louder — Travelodge kicked off a promotion and he happened to be at the right place at the right time and was one of the lucky ones to get a room.

There’s nothing that I love more than getting something for a great price, or even free. I’m such a cheap date

We’ll be heading to York on December 16th, we will be doing some Christmas shopping in the city centre whether he likes it or not. We’ll take a look at the river and hang out there a while, weather permitting. We’ll get something nice to eat and then no doubt end up in a pub or club until closing. It’ll be great, so nice to get away for a short break. I already can’t wait
