I need some new winter boots, I bought a new pair for summer after I lost a lot of weight and my old ones got too big, yes…boots got too big because I lost weight, go figure? I have been putting off buying any new winter one because I am a bit skint at the moment, and I find them so much harder to buy!

I was looking on BabyPhat.com earlier and I love a lot of the Baby Phat Shoes range, the Gianna wedges and Juliet boots are to die for!

I am going to start saving my pennies and buy one before the month is out, I really need to get some before December rolls by!

Wild Weather Please!

I love wild weather. I actually cannot stand summer because it’s so samey – though not so much these days in the UK to be honest. Every day is sunny, warm and still – that’s it. Compare that to wonderful winter where every day is different, rain, snow, wind, storms, hail…you name it and it’s all going on in winter.

Today was an awesome day in that sense, because we had a torrential rain storm – it was actually a little scary because we were out in the car at the time, in the centre of Huddersfield while people were headed to a football match – eep. But it was still great, honestly I have never seen rain like it in my life, there was zero visibility because it was that heavy, there was rivers every where. I loved it and hope that more is to come

You know it’s almost Winter when…

…it’s dark by 7pm

…you have to spend 30 minutes digging around in the pantry to try and find your scarf and gloves

…you have brussel sprouts for tea for the first time since last winter

…your facebook status currently reads ‘Brrr, I’m cold!’

…you keep your socks on when you go to bed

..you get woken up by the sound of the central heating coming on because you are not used to it

I love winter

I can’t believe that it is September already, summer has now been and gone and the run up to Christmas and winter (my absolute favourite season) begins. This year has really flown by! Mind you, all years seem to really fly by these days — I was thinking about my upcoming birthday in March the other day, wondering if I should do something special as it was my 30th, or just hide away and wait for it to pass.

Then I thought to myself; “Wait a minute, is it my 30th??”

I took me a good few minutes to rack my brain and do some maths, and come to the conclusion that no, it isn’t my 30th next, I am only 28 now making me 29 next.
