Back in action!

So, looks like moving house and then coming down with some sort of virus kept me away from blogging for over a week, oopsie.

I am still feeling a little unwell to be honest, I am not sure what’s wrong with me but I keep getting these waves of nausea — it’s not fun.

I am meant to be going birthday shopping tomorrow and I am not sure I will be up for it. Shopping when someone else is playing and I might not be up for it?! That’s seriously messed up man hehe

Free Screening got cancelled

The other half and I had tickets to a free screening on Tuesday night, it was to see ‘Choke’ and neither of us thought it sounded really good or like ‘our cup of tea’ so we were not going to go, especially as he wasn’t feeling too well.

In the end we decided to go for it, having remembered that we always go to them when we get them, because we like free things.

Well we got there, on time for once, and the usher told us it had been cancelled — I could already see his angry face appearing, having gone all that way when he didn’t really want to only to get there and it’s cancelled? Grr.

But then the usher went on to say that as such, we were welcome to go to the ticket counter and choose whatever we wanted — for free! SCORE.

There was several to chose from that we’d have been happy to see, but we settled on Ghost Town.

What’s the lesson? Always go to free screenings, you never know what might happen teehee

My cold finally seems to have broken, thank heck. It was pretty bad there for a while, snot monster, coughing my poor lungs up, fever etc.

The only thing I am left with now is a really husky voice, but I am OK with that because my throat isn’t sore and I sound sheexayyy. Well OK, sexyish.

Of course the week I was sick was the week my other half decided to be away, not only that but coincidentally my parents and my brother and sister-in-law were both away on holiday for the week. I felt kinda lonely. You know what it’s like when you are sick, you just want someone to look after you and sympathise.

I kept looking around me when I was through with a coughing fit for someone to say ‘Aww Poor you’, I kept making moaning and groaning and sighing noises expecting someone to ask ‘Aww, still feeling poorly?’ — but no, I was all alone…just me and my cold

Can bathing be classed as a hobby?

I know what I need to soothe my aching back and make me feel better, I need a good old pampering session — the cure to all minor ailments and irritations

I love nothing more than pouring a nice hot bath, putting on some music, lighting some candles, taking the phone off the hook and just relaxing, what girl doesn’t — in fact what man doesn’t as well, they are just shyer about admitting it

Whenever I am prompted to enter my hobbies in any forms online I always put bathing/pampering and I giggle as I do it, because it’s not really a hobby as such is it? But it’s something I enjoy, so I count it as one — I have only a few actual hobbies so I need to beef it up somehow in order to make myself look more interesting, haha!

Scrubs, lotions, souffles, oils, soaps, potions and every thing in between are always on my wishlists and my Christmas and birthday presents are usually full of pampering products, my loved ones know me so well
