I just came across some affordable Patek Philippe watches that I am going to show him, maybe we will finally hit gold with them!

I have already been looking around and so far I have found this one Hublot watch I think he may like, it’s the one pictured in this post in case that isn’t already clear.

I will definitely have to ask him first though, because I have picked out loads of watches I thought he would like and he didn’t!

I could really do with getting an early night tonight but I know it won’t happen, I am too excited and I accidentally stayed asleep for an extra hour today. Doh.

Then on Wednesday is my mums 60th birthday, lots of plans with the family and stuff.

Thursday I am doing my final Christmas shopping trip, with my mum as sort of part of her birthday present.

If only we had the money that celebrities do hey? I am sure he’d love a solid gold one like P Diddy, he likes things that look expensive…although I think that a solid gold one might be a little bit overkill, even for him

As I think you may know by now, I have a somewhat unusual sense of humour — I like to do random and unexpected things just to get peoples minds thinking and wondering. I have spoken before how I plan to announce my pregnancy if that day ever comes and as I browsed ChristmasCardsDirect.com earlier while looking for a source for this years Business Holiday Cards my mind started going to many a wonderfully random place about the possibilities of personalised holiday cards.

Why send my parents a card with a snowman on it, when I can send them one with a photo of my dad ‘popped up’ last year after one too many wee Christmas tipples? Why send my other half a card with a heart or profession of love on it when I can send him one with a picture of me dressed up as Mrs Claus

I also enjoyed the section on photography tips they have on the site, something I need to show my dad I think as he’s a serial offender of chopping people out of photos — the best family photo we have has the top of my brothers head and my arm missing out of it!

In the end we decided to go for it, having remembered that we always go to them when we get them, because we like free things.

Well we got there, on time for once, and the usher told us it had been cancelled — I could already see his angry face appearing, having gone all that way when he didn’t really want to only to get there and it’s cancelled? Grr.

But then the usher went on to say that as such, we were welcome to go to the ticket counter and choose whatever we wanted — for free! SCORE.

There was several to chose from that we’d have been happy to see, but we settled on Ghost Town.

What’s the lesson? Always go to free screenings, you never know what might happen teehee

He scoffed at me, scoffed.

He said that he could guarantee I’d have a broken bone within an hour of getting on skis — of course, he is right, I would because I am extremely clumsy and have terrible balance — but there was no way I was letting him get away with scoffing at me.

In the end we concluded that I might manage to not break a bone, but would probably never be good at skiing. I am OK with that conclusion — especially as I didn’t even agree with my own arguments hehe.

Oh the complexities of a relationship with two stubborn people who like a good friendly ruck, huh?

So I guess this means I won’t be booking any Ski Holidays Norway style. Oh well. I’d love to hit the slopes of Voss, where you can Ski or snowboard on the Alpine slopes…and palm the kids off on one of the many availavle activity groups — snowboard hmm, now there’s an idea…like skiing, but requires less balance, maybe I really would be good at that!

I am also likely to spend a lot of time playing De Blob on the Wii which I have bought just to keep me entertained while I am there, I have heard it’s a great game and highly addictive. I just hope it leaves me with enough time to blog

I am going to my very first Halloween party in a few weeks time, hosting by my other halfs boss…and I can’t wait, I have already been planning what to wear for weeks. Here’s what I am stuck on though, what do you take as a gift to a Halloween party? I have been searching around the last few days for ideas for Halloween treats and I have decided the best gift is something creative that will add to the party decorations, so I am going with either a Halloween flower bouquet or a hand painted pumpkin

Are films getting better, or are we just getting easier to please?

It was certainly predictable in places, but it wasn’t cheesy and corny. The characters were all likeable and/or interesting and I didn’t see the end coming.

Over all we give it a 7.5/10
