How old? Too old!

I can’t believe that it is September already, summer has now been and gone and the run up to Christmas and winter (my absolute favourite season) begins. This year has really flown by! Mind you, all years seem to really fly by these days — I was thinking about my upcoming birthday in March the other day, wondering if I should do something special as it was my 30th, or just hide away and wait for it to pass.

Then I thought to myself; “Wait a minute, is it my 30th??”

I took me a good few minutes to rack my brain and do some maths, and come to the conclusion that no, it isn’t my 30th next, I am only 28 now making me 29 next.

A day in the life

As previously mentioned, I am a night owl who doesn’t keep regular hours. I also work from home, and my other half works evenings so it works out well. I am going to tell you about a typical day in the life of the Toria.

Get up around 2pm, make myself a cup of tea and maybe get some breakfast – I actually hate eating when I first get up, but I know you are meant to do is so I try – I probably manage to eat it around 3 times per week.

I get dressed and hop straight on the computer to start work.

I work until around 5pm when I break off for dinner – I have the same thing every day, a chicken tikka and salad sandwhich, YUM. This is also when the other half starts work so I wave him off.

I will then watch TV or go out for a few hours.

At 8pm I head down to the gym for an hour or so 5 nights a week, the other 2 nights I go out to the pub or cinema at around that time. I tend to opt for the elliptical, my work out equipment of choice.

I then go back home, watch TV for a while, have something to eat (usually a bowl of cornflakes).

The other half arrives home at 11:30pm and he then cooks us our tea. We chat and watch TV for a while.

At around 2am I head back to the computer where I start my second job. I finish at 5am. I spend an hour or so doing my own thing online and then head to bed for the day.

So, now you know about me – my hobbies and interests and other sites, you know about my other half and you know I like scenic pictures. Now you are dying to see what I look like, I know you are – don’t try and deny it.

I don’t like to disappoint, so here’s a description – I am 28, but like to think I look younger. I am a wee 5ft tall. I have long medium brown hair and brown eyes. And I am packing a few extra pounds, to put it politely – to put it not so politely I am a bit of a porker, but working hard not to be.

Who is Toria?

So you wanna know about me, right? Well, my birth name is Victoria – but only my mother calls me that when I am in trouble. I tend to go by Starlet online. My friends and family call me Viki. My other half calls me Toria and the kid from over the road who used to pick on me as a child calls me Pudding – so any of those will do, although I’d prefer it if you didn’t opt for the pudding one.

I am 28 years old, born March 20th 1980, making me a Pisces.

I am engaged to be married to my boyfriend of 5 and a half years whom I actually met online back in 1999!

I live in the north of sunny old England.

I have no pets.

I am a night owl who doesn’t keep the usual hours, 9 to 5 would kill me.

I am employed as a…well…it’s kinda complicated to explain, but let’s just say I earn my daily bread online – and no, contrary to what 99% of people assume when I say that, I am not a porn star.

And that, is basically me. Hopefully we’ll get to know each other better in the coming weeks, months and years.
