It makes sense of course, I had mounds of icky fat surrounding my entire body, that’s bound to keep ya warm right? But it sure is difficult to get used to — and it’s not even really winter yet, though in the UK these days it’s hardly ever hot. It’s only the start of December and it already feels like February for my new slimmer body!

I LOVE it.

I don’t care if I am cold, uncomfortable and it’s difficult getting used to. I will take anything that reminds me I have lost a lot of weight.

So come on winter, I’m ready for ya!

Last night to try and keep warm I was sat with my scarf, arm warmers and a hat on — inside the house I mean. I bet I looked a right wally.

We even had our first snow of the winter a few days ago and I am very much a snow fan. It wasn’t exactly anything to write home about however — which is why I didn’t write about it here, it just flurried for about 10 minutes, stopped, started again for around another 15 minutes and then turned to rain and washed away, boo, I want big ‘the country was at a standstill’ type snow like we had last year. I am thinking that tonight I may wear one of my Berghaus Jackets because I know that will keep me warm, it’s kept me warm up windy hills in Yorkshire in October — but it might be a bit overkill, I really would look like a big wally so I will probably just try a hot water bottle, or wrapping up in my fleece blanket instead and then go for the Berghaus in a few nights time if the others don’t do the trick!

It is freezing cold, I am sat inside with my hat and scarf on, big furry slippers and still have my fleece blanket wrapped around me. It’s gusting like mad outside, I can hear the water gurgling in the plug holes and it is pouring down with rain – puddles the size of small lakes every where.

I love it

The only thing I am left with now is a really husky voice, but I am OK with that because my throat isn’t sore and I sound sheexayyy. Well OK, sexyish.

Of course the week I was sick was the week my other half decided to be away, not only that but coincidentally my parents and my brother and sister-in-law were both away on holiday for the week. I felt kinda lonely. You know what it’s like when you are sick, you just want someone to look after you and sympathise.

I kept looking around me when I was through with a coughing fit for someone to say ‘Aww Poor you’, I kept making moaning and groaning and sighing noises expecting someone to ask ‘Aww, still feeling poorly?’ — but no, I was all alone…just me and my cold
