I have loads of photos, more than 200 in fact, but I had to edit and only post 10 of them…it was difficult to decide which to go with! Really.

I ate a lot of naughty foods, got lots of great presents, saw lots of family and friends, played lots of Wii games.

I love Christmas.

I got a lot of ‘bits n bobs’ from the family as ever, I can’t remember the last time I really got a big/main gift because come this time of year there’s never anything I want

I do still have some bits to buy, but I will be getting those next week in York.

I feel all accomplished, I am usually the sort to leave every thing until the last second.

I usually refuse to start my Christmas shopping before December, but with the advertising starting earlier and earlier these days it’s just become harder and harder.

So far I have bought gifts for my Sister in Law, Mother in Law, Other Half and my Mum and I am going into the city tomorrow to do some serious shopping.

Oh well. Next year I won’t cave

Since I went on Tuesday and got my new purse and skinny jeans I have also bought a water bottle, some makeup, a bunch of gadgets and novelty gifts and a gorgeous ring.

The ring is just a cheapy, cost me about £2.50 after discounts — but I love it, it’s big and bulky and bright and I am now going to ask Santa for a nicer, more expensive one in a similar style for Christmas

We did a lot of ‘recceing’ as my mum calls it though, there was an awful lot of stuff I tried on and liked but it was all a little expensive, assuming that either a pre Christmas sale will be coming, or we’ll be getting sent some discount vouchers soon, we decided to leave it a few weeks and then go back to see if any of them had come down.

We also sussed out some presents for other people, a hat for my SIL, a dressing gown and slippers for my brother and a jewelry box for my best friend.

So it was still a good trip, I just didn’t come home with much this time.

* I mention the size, because the last time I went shopping I needed to buy size 16, woo.

Then I thought to myself; “Wait a minute, is it my 30th??”

I took me a good few minutes to rack my brain and do some maths, and come to the conclusion that no, it isn’t my 30th next, I am only 28 now making me 29 next.

You know you are over the hill when you can’t even remember how old you are
