My calfs, my stomach, my neck — I suppose it’s ‘good’ pain really, in the sense that it’s a result of exercise so I must have been doing something right, but still…I’d rather be able to walk and move my head.

I did a new DVD work out last night — I say new, I actually mean really old, it’s a DVD that came out in 2001 and I have had since around then, but it’s the first time I have done it in many years! Dance Work Out with Helen Adams — her off of Big Brother 2, oh how funny that I actually bought that hehe

I actually thought it was too easy last night, it only lasts 50 minutes including warm up, cool down and toning — but boy am I regretting saying that now.

Still, it was nice to have a change from the elliptical.

I am so pleased that Dan won, and by such a landslide. He was the biggest character this season, he was great at the game playing, it was his season and he totally deserved it.

Keesha winning the America’s choice thing though…huh? Every single year I am shocked at the people America seem to like when it comes to these things, and Jerry was a close second by the sounds of it. Why why why?

Neither were remotely likable and both were terrible players. The only plus side to Keesha winning is that the ‘orrible April will have hated it, teehee.

Overall it was a good season, but nothing amazing.

So my favourite didn’t win, they came 4th.
My 2nd favourite didn’t win, they came 3rd.
My 3rd favourite didn’t win, they came 5th.
My 2nd least favourite came 2nd.
My least favourite won.

Doh!

King Rex should have won, he was an ass for sure but he was the most interesting and entertaining housemate this year by far — by an absolute landslide. He’s one of only about 4 housemate ever that I actually care about, in the sense that I will lookout for news about what they are up to and watch any future shows they appear on. Usually once they leave the house, I am over them.

Rachel, the girl who won, is nice enough. I never subscribed to the theory that she’s ‘fake’ just because she is perma happy. But she wasn’t a big part of the show for me, she wasn’t even on my radar for several weeks, she wasn’t funny, she wasn’t clever, she wasn’t unique, she wasn’t interesting to me — she was just, nice.

But it’s all good because I had put a free bet on her to win at odds of 13 to 1, so I am £40 up — if only I had put more on, I had £10, I put £5 on Darnell and £2.50 each on Rex and Rachel.

Overall it was a great series, but the finale was really anti climactic for me.

This is the first year in a long time that the finale has been really open, we just don’t know who’ll win…or even who will be out first. This never happens on Big Brother UK, the finales and all the evictions are really predictable — you know what’s going to happen as soon as nominations are announced.

I am allowing myself the evening off from working out, so I will be nice and relaxed for kick off…rather than tired and sweaty like usual and I am going to allow myself a small bowl of ice cream as a treat. Then I am going to settle down, laptop nearby so I can see what’s going on on the forums and watch live feed at the same time and ENJOY it

Rex or Sara to win.

I didn’t get to sleep until around 7am, I was awake again at 8am, and I seemed to be looking at the clock every 10 minutes up until about 11am when I finally seemed to get off properly — so I have probably had a total of 4 hours kip, ugh.

It’s a good job that aside from 2 hours work and enjoying the Big Brother 9 UK special double eviction later, I don’t have much to do today.
