Urgh, cords everywhere!

I really hate when you can see cables and the like around the house – you can have the most stylish and gorgeously decorated room in the world but as soon as you can see cords hanging around or running over the floors it’s game over for me. It’s best to hide them completely but if you can’t do that then at least get some cord covers and try to disguise them a little bit.

I am not sure that video conferencing is meant to be as much fun as we make it at work – the thing is we are all very responsible and professional with others and we are great at what we do – but we are all genuine close friends outside of the office as well so when it’s just ‘us’ we tend to mess around and be silly more than we probably should do

New push mower

I have looked at so many push mowers online these last few days I feel like I am going to be seeing them in my dreams tonight. I said I would help my dad find a good one at a good price as I have a bit of a reputation as the online bargain finder queen among my family and friends so often get tasked with things like this.

A busy few weeks ahead

We need to go to the store this weekend to pick up some new basement floor tiles for a project we have decided to work on – we have never done much with the basement even though we have always said that we really should make more use of the space. We have finally come up with a plan and have the spare cash and time to get on with it – so that should keep us busy for the next week or so.

Music man bass

My cousin just got a new Music Man Bass and I am so jealous that I could just die! I have wanted one for a long time but it’s never really been something I could justify spending that amount of cash on. On the plus side at least him having one means that I get to enjoy using it now and then

I have been reading some progene reviews recently as I just found out that my 16 year old nephew has been ordering them online and taking them for a few months now. It always makes me nervous ordering things online no matter what they are so when they are supplements, tablets and drugs and the like it makes me even more nervous and I want to make sure that he is getting them from a reliable source.

I have ended up buying loads of phone Accessories recently for my new Samsung Galaxy s2 – I just keep seeing things for it that I really like and I can’t resist them even though I really don’t need them, I already had two cases for it but just ordered a 3rd. I also just got a stylus so that I can draw better in the game ‘draw something’ that I am totally hooked on

I love tailgating – I don’t know why people don’t do it in the UK. It’s one of the many things I discovered after moving to the USA several years ago that I have really enjoyed and embraced.

Of course I do still miss the UK and mant od rhw traditions and the like that go on there that don’t in the states. But the USA has become ‘home’

How to deal with back pain

My other half has been considering laser back surgery recently though I personally feel it’s a little drastic and there are many other options to try first – he has been struggling with back pain for several monts now and has been to the doctor who said he should see a specialist and he ‘has not got around to it’ yet. It has also been suggested that a new bed and or matress could help as ours is ancient and probably needs replacing regardless.

UPPAbaby stroller

I was looking at the UPPAbaby strollers a while ago on behalf of a friend – she is expecting her first child in just a few months time and is struggling a little with the cost of it all. It’s amazing how expensive having a baby can be and that’s before you even actually give birth. I said that I would help her find the best possible price for one so she can have a great stroller without having to pay for it with an arm and a leg.
