Cheap scrubs make great fancy dress outfits

A friend of mine came up with the great idea of buying cheap scrubs to use for fancy dress parties a few years ago now and I still think it was a stroke of genius. Why pay the small fortune that websites or fancy dress shops try and charge for outfits when you can just make your own using cheap scrubs?

Outdoor lighting

We need to look into outdoor lighting for the back yard. There is a light out there but it has never worked and we are not sure we want to get it working as it’s one of those security ones that comes on when it senses movement and in my experience those things never really work. We’d rather have something pretty that we can turn on and off ourselves as and when it’s needed

Lotions n Potions

My mum asked me if I knew any products to help with her dark eye circle issue, but I really don’t as it’s not something I really suffer with or worry about myself – I said I would have a look around for her though as I am apparently better at searching online than her, I think she’s just lazy though

If I ever win the lottery, one of the many things I would want to do is buy a Ferrari for my fiance — it’s his dream car and I have to admit that I would not complain at being driven around in one by him I am sure he’d want to buy loads of Ferrari parts as well to soup it up and make it stand out!

Eye Cream

I was just searching around trying to find the best eye cream for my mum. She has really sensitive eyes so has to be careful what she uses around that area — she’s spent a small fortune on all these lotions and potions over the years and most of them end up getting handed off to me so I don’t mind doing the searching for her I’ve been using anti aging creams since I was about 15 so I am hoping that will serve me well in later life haha.

I went shopping today armed with someone else’s credit card and with permission to buy something I wanted for my birthday, it’s next Friday by the way — in case you want to get me something .

How sweet is that, shopping with someone else’s money!!

Wanna know what I bought? Some sweet letters that I used to have as a kid and have not seen for years, and a pack of Sharpie pens.

Seriously, that’s it!

There was just nothing I fancied and trust me it was not from lack of trying, we were out shopping for over five hours, eek.

To really top it off we set the home alarm off when we got back and annoyed the entire street, especially our neighbours who had just got the baby off to sleep, ooops, but what can you do?

I think I have lost count of how many times I have said I want to buy my other half a fancy watch now, I was going to get him one for Christmas, then Valentines, then our anniversary and then his 30th birthday — that’s not until July so it’s still possible. He’s just so darn picky though, I see ones I think he will like and he hates them, the only few he has seen and liked have been well out of my price range.

I just came across some affordable Patek Philippe watches that I am going to show him, maybe we will finally hit gold with them!

Mother’s Day

Mother’s day is just around the corner here in the UK and I want to get my mum something really special this year, she’s been such a great help with the house move and every thing. I was looking at pearl necklaces as I think she’d really like one, but they are out of my price range at the moment — maybe I will save up for one for Christmas for her instead.

I hope to be able to pick her up something in town tomorrow, if I do indeed end up going

I am looking for tv stands at the moment, I need one because we aren’t allowed to mount the telly on the wall in the new flat — boo, we have always had it on the wall so this is going to be strange — but at least we can get a nice one with a few extra selves so that we can also keep other things on there, the Wii and PVR and probably most of our DVD collection too. I came across a nice one already and you can get 20% cashback on it which makes it a sweet deal, but I am going to have to get my tape measure out before purchasing!

I would still prefer it to be on the wall, it takes up a lot of room and we hardly have room to swing a cat as it is, but what can you do. Landlord says no, answer is no.

I am going to get my other half a nice watch for his upcoming 30th birthday — well, it is not until July so I still have a lot of time to pick him one but I am sure I will need it, he is very hard to please when it comes to clothes and accessories.

I have already been looking around and so far I have found this one Hublot watch I think he may like, it’s the one pictured in this post in case that isn’t already clear.

I will definitely have to ask him first though, because I have picked out loads of watches I thought he would like and he didn’t!
