Too good to be true?

I have been thinking on buying some loose diamonds abroad and then selling them on over here for a profit, one of my friends has been doing it for a while now and absolutely swears by it – but it seems a little too good to be true, if it were really that easy and risk free wouldn’t every one and their mother be doing it?
