Having just got back from a nightmare stay in York, which I will blog about in greater detail tomorrow after I have had some much needed sleep, it’s really made me appreciate that I need to spend longer researching any future Vacation Rentals I make.
Rentalo.com seems like a good place to start, they offer a lot of information and great savings on everything from budget properties to swanky naples beachfront condos.
Not that the place we stayed in York was bad really, it was clean, it was quiet and although it was basic we definitely got our monies worth since we only paid £9 for the room as we got it in a killer sale 
But it would have been handy to know more about it and the area in general before going….so we knew more what to expect, what things we would need to take and how to get to the places we wanted to go to! When we first arrived we left the place and turned right..it took us a good 15 minutes to get to our destination and when we got there we realised if only we’d turned left we would have got to our destination in around 2 minutes!
Typical eh?
