As mentioned below, next week I am headed to York for a few days for a pre Christmas shopping trip and a bit of fun — and I just realised it’s the first time I have ever been away near to Christmas! I have been away in November for Bonfire night before, and in February for St Valentines, but never anything in between.
I am not sure why, I guess I just associate Christmas with being at home. Now that I have thought about it though I think it would be nice to go away for Christmas one year — I might suggest it to the other half for Christmas 2009, I am quite sure that as long as we can afford it of course, he will be up for that and my mum will probably appreciate having a few less mouths to feed!
I’ve just been looking up some East Sussex Hotels because I think that would be a great place to visit. Somewhere in the countryside rather than our usual coastal trips. I would definitely want to stay in a nice hotel, one that caters to your every whim and fancy and offers all the best facilities and luxuries. A swimming pool in a hotel is a must for me and an early morning swim would be a great way to start the day
