…one of the downsides of getting to the cinema early on Tuesday, for our free screening of Pineapple Express, was that we were there for some trailers — usually there isn’t any trailers and usually we are late, arriving moment before the film starts, or in some cases moments after it has started.
This is a downside not because trailers are boring, but because as previously mentioned the other half and I are really really hard to please when it comes to films — we go to these free screenings ‘blind’ — as in without finding out what the film is about, for the very reason that if we did 9 times out of 10 we’d decide not to bother.
Three trailers were shown and we have tickets for two of them i the coming weeks. Taken and Death Race, I thought that both looked really dire and the other half thought that Death Race did and now we are debating if we should go or not, whereas before we would have just gone without question!
