The other half and I went and saw Pineapple Express yesterday, for free of course, thanks to SeeFilmFirst.com we go to 2 or 3 free preview screenings per month. It’s great for us because we are very hard to please when it comes to films — we come away disappointed 9 times out of 10 when we pay £10 to see something!
We actually enjoyed the film, me slightly more so than him I think. It was funny, and didn’t descend into nonsense as most films seem to these days. And I didn’t especially enjoy Superbad or Knocked up so I didn’t have high hopes.
There was one guy in the cinema who really seemed to enjoy it, I have never heard someone laugh so much and so loud and proud in the cinema before! Maybe I am the odd one out, but I always feel a little embarrassed laughing in the cinema, so I try and keep it to a quiet little laugh.
Still, great film, it gets the Toria seal of approval
