What a great nights sleep I had last night! A good solid 8 hours, without interruption and with many a lovely dream — including a dream about someone I went to school with who I have not seen or heard from in at least 10 years — guess who had added me as a friend on Facebook while I was sleeping? Yep, said friend, is that freaky or what?
But that’s not the point of this post, the point of this post is that YAY I had an awesome nights sleep, something that has been seriously lacking in recent weeks — I’ve been taking hours to nod off, waking up a lot during the day and generally just having poor quality sleeps. This then results in me over sleeping, or falling asleep later in the day which only makes the situation worse.
It was only today I realised the probable reason for this – Caffeine! I usually drink Green Tea (part of my healthy life style *tooth pings*) but have taken to having 2 or 3 cups of regular tea recently. This isn’t an excessive amount by any means, I used to drink several cups per day — it’s just that my body won’t be used to it.
Now I have worked that out, here’s to many a more sleep filled nights in the future
